Sinopsis: Rinko es una mujer transgénero con un corazón de oro. Su novio Makio, cautivado por su bondad, la acepta tal y como ella es. Una pequeña niña llamada Tomo, sobrina de Makio, aparece de repente en sus vidas. Esta es la historia de sesenta días en la vida de estos tres individuos, quienes buscan la felicidad entre los cerezos en flor por primavera. Una de las primeras películas japonesas en colocar como protagonista a un personaje perteneciente a una minoría sexual.

Synopsis: Rinko is a transgender woman with a heart of gold. Her boyfriend Makio was captivated by her heart and accepts her for who she is. And a lonely girl named Tomo suddenly appeared in their life. This is the story of sixty heartwarming days in the life of these three individuals who each find their own happiness amid the blooming cherry blossoms of spring. One of the first Japanese films to feature a main character belonging to a sexual minority.

Biografía: NAOKO OGIGAMI estudió cine en la Universidad de California del Sur. De vuelta a Japón, su debut ‘Yoshino’s Barber Shop’ (2003) consiguió una Mención Especial en el Kinder Film Fest del Festival Internacional de Berlín. ‘MEGANE – Glasses’ (2007) llamó la atención de varios festivales del 2008, incluyendo Sundance, Hong Kong y San Francisco. Su última película, ‘Rent-a-cat’ (2012) se proyectó en la sección Panorama de la 62 Edición del Festival Internacional de Berlín.

Biography: NAOKO OGIGAMI did her film studies at the University of Southern California. Returned to Japan, her directorial debut ‘Yoshino’s Barber Shop’ (2003) earned a Special Mention at the Kinder Film Fest of the Berlin International Film Festival. ‘MEGANE – Glasses’ (2007) earned attention at several international film festivals in 2008, including the Sundance, Hong Kong and San Francisco International Film Festivals. His last film, ‘Rent-a-Cat’ (2012), was featured in the Panorama section of the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.
