Sinopsis: Una fría mañana bogotana un joven fotógrafo espera ansiosamente a alguien en su apartamento. Ensordecido por los ruidos contaminantes del tráfico se sienta a fumar un cigarrillo mientras algunos recuerdos íntimos comienzan a aparecer tras revisar viejas fotografías que él mismo había guardado, hacía ya algún tiempo. Recuerdos felices y tristes, carnales y cotidianos que lo van poniendo cada vez más nervioso a medida que pasa el tiempo. Mientras tanto el teléfono suena insistentemente, él contesta sin obtener respuesta alguna, algo que le angustia aún más. Entonces, se abre la puerta.

Synopsis: On a cold Bogotan morning, a young photographer anxiously waits for someone at his flat. Deafened by the traffic noise, he sits and smokes while intimate memories come back as he watches some old photos he had kept hidden for a while. Joyful and sad, carnal and usual memories that fluster him as time goes by. Meanwhile, a telephone rings insistently, which he picks but gets no answer, making him even more nervous. Then, the door opens.

Biografía: Con ocho años, Jaime Gómez (Colombia, 1984) tuvo su primer acercamiento con el universo audiovisual. Tiempo después, y tras finalizar Periodismo y Administración de Empresas, viajó a Argentina buscando alcanzar su verdadero objetivo, y es allí donde obtuvo el título de director de cine. Vivió en Nueva Zelanda un tiempo donde dirigió varios cortometrajes y trabajó realizando spots publicitarios. Actualmente reside en Madrid, donde estudia un Máster en Contenido Digital. Después de este largo camino, logra entender que el cine es inherente a su propio ser y su vida se va estructurando en esta eterna búsqueda. Sus sueños para mañana: aprender, viajar, descubrir, y ¿por qué no? tener su propia escuela de cine. Hacer realidad aquellos sueños de su infancia que aún guarda será un compromiso con su propia existencia.

Biography: At the age of eight, Jaime Gómez (Colombia, 1984) had its first close encounter with the media universe. Years later, and after having finished his studies in Journalism and Business Management, he travelled to Argentina and graduated as a Film Director. He lived in New Zealand for a while, where he directed some short films and spots. He currently lives in Madrid, where he studies a Masters Degree in Digital Content. After this long journey, he finally understood cinema is inherent to himself and that his own life structures itself in this eternal search. His dreams for the future: learning, travelling, discovering and… why not? Having its own film school. To make his childhood dreams, which he still keeps, come true will be a compromise with his own existence.
