Sinopsis: ‘100 Men’ presenta una cuenta atrás de cien de los hombres con quienes el director Paul Oremland ha tenido sexo durante cuatro décadas. No obstante, no se trata de un documental sobre sexo sino sobre una revolución social, narrado a través de las entrevistas de Paul con hombres a quienes no ha visto en años. Sus historias contribuyen a dibujar la línea del mapa que muestra cómo los tiempos han cambiado.

Synopsis: ‘100 Men’ depicts a countdown of a hundred men, just a few of those that director Paul Oremland has had sex with over four decades. But this is not a film about sex; it’s a film about social revolution – told through the prism of Paul’s journey as he meets up with men he has not seen for years. Their stories contribute to a much bigger picture mapping how times have changed.

Biografía: Paul Oremland creció en Nueva Zelanda pero su carrera como cineasta empezó en Reino Unido. Su primera película, ‘Like it is’ (1998), un romance gay sobre un boxeador, fue estrenada en unos treinta países. Su segundo largometraje, ‘Surveillance’, tuvo su premiere en el Festival de Berlín de 2007. Su trabajo como director incluye por igual documentales, programas artísticos y películas para televisión.

Biography: Paul Oremland grew up in New Zealand but it was in the UK where he began working as a filmmaker. His first theatrically released film, ‘Like It Is’ (1998), a gay love story about a boxer, was seen in over thirty countries. His second feature, ‘Surveillance’, was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2007. His work as a director includes documentaries, arts programs and TV films.
