Sinopsis: Brasil se prepara para los Juegos Olímpicos de Río de Janeiro. Mientras que todo el país se regocija en la gran noticia y aguarda con ansiedad este inminente y gran evento, la comunidad LGBTI protesta por las injusticias que se están produciendo contra ellos.

Synopsis: Brazil is preparing for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. While the whole country rejoices in the big news and anxiously awaits this imminent and great event, the LGBTI community protests at the injustices that are taking place against them.

Biografía: Mario de la Torre debutó con el corto “Chocolate con Churros” , ganador del premio ‘New Arrivals’ del Festival de Rotterdam. Con el documental Harraga” estuvo nominado a los Premios Goya 2008. “La Condena” fue editada en la colección Filmoteca FNAC y seleccionada en festivales de todo el mundo. “Hambre”, su último trabajo, ha participado en festivales como Sitges, Odense o Gijón.

Biography: Mario de la Torre made his debut with the short film “Chocolate con Churros”, winner of the New Arrivals award in the Rotterdam Film Festival. The documentary “Harraga” was nominated to the 2008 Goya Awards. “La Condena” was edited in the collection Filmoteca FNAC and screened in festivals all around the world. Hunger, his last film, was selected in such festivals as Sitges, Gijón or Odense.
