Jorge Roelas inicia su carrera como actor en el año 1979 con la obra “El sueño de una noche de verano” bajo la dirección de David Perry. A partir de ahí se suceden sus trabajos teatrales con directores como Miguel Narros o José Carlos Plaza. Su primera película es “Demonios en el jardín” de Manuel Gutierrez Aragón.
En 2004, obtiene la Nominación al Premio Goya como mejor actor revelación. “Paco” es su primer cortometraje.
Biography:
Jorge Roelas begins his career as an actor in 1979, with the play “A Midsummer Night's Dream” directed by David Perry. Then the theatre works follows one another with directors like Miguel Narros or José Carlos Plaza. His first film is “Demons in the Garden” by Manuel Gutierrez Aragón.
He gets the nomination at the Goya Prize in 2004 as the best breakthrough actor. “Paco” is his first short film as a director.

| Sinopsis: | Jota sale cada mañana en busca del amor. Jota está enamorado del amor. El amor se llama Paco. Paco es el espíritu del amor y como un espíritu se introduce en los cuerpos de los chicos más guapos que pasean por el centro comercial. Jota es la única persona que puede ver ese espíritu dentro de esos cuerpos nacidos para ser Paco. |
| Synopsis: | Jota goes out every morning looking for love. He is in love with love. His love is called Paco. Paco is the spirit of love and as a spirit he gets into the more handsome boys' bodies who rides in the shopping centre every morning. Jota is the only person who can see this spirit inside these bodies who were born to be Paco.
Jota travels every morning in the shopping centre doing the shopping, discovering every Paco, dreaming alive of each one, living his years without a limit. |
