Biografía:
Yun Suh ha trabajado como periodista en radio y televisión y como directora de documentales durante nueve años. Ha estado nominada como Mejor Documental de la NFCB (Federación Nacional de Comunicadores) por su reportaje de radio, Sabra & Shatilla (2003), sobre la masacre de palestinos en campos de refugiados libaneses en 1982. También cuenta con una nominación a los Emmy por la producción de la pieza informativa Comfort Women (2001), la historia de una mujer coreana obligada a ser esclava sexual por el ejército imperial japonés durante la II Guerra Mundial.
Biography:
Yun Suh has been working as a radio and television journalist and a documentary filmmaker for nine years. She has nominated at Best Documentary from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters for her one-hour long radio report, Sabra & Shatilla (2003), on the survivors of the 1982 massacre of Palestinians in Lebanese refugee camps. She has also received an Emmy nomination for producing a news feature, Comfort Women (2001), a story of a Korean woman who was forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese Imperial Army during World War II.
