Biografía:
Daryl Wein estudió arte dramático y cine en la Escuela de arte de la New York University y en la Escuela de cine y televisión de la University of Southern California. Con tan solo 16 años, su primer cortometraje, "Life is a Train", ganó el tercer premio en el International Young Filmmaker's Festival de Nueva York. En su carrera de actor, Daryl fue artista invitado en la última temporada de la serie "Ley y Orden" y ha hecho apariciones en películas de comedia y en más de 10 spots publicitarios. El primer trabajo narrativo de Daryl Wein fue "Breaking Upwards".

Biography:
Daryl Wein studied drama and film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and USC School of Film and Television. At age 16, his first short film, "Life is a Train", won Third Prize at the International Young Filmmaker's Festival in New York. As an actor, Daryl was the guest star on the season finale of "Law and Order," and has appeared comedy central movies, various stage productions, and over 10 national commercials. Daryl Wein's debut narrative feature, "Breaking Upwards,"

Sinopsis: "Sex Positive" explora la vida de Richard Berkowitz, un activista gay revolucionario de los 80, cuya contribución a la invención del sexo seguro nunca fue lo suficientemente reconocida. Berkowitz surgió del epicentro de la epidemia como líder de una comunidad, pidiendo una solución a este problema antes de que nadie le prestara atención. Sin embargo, no sólo fue la voz de Berkovitz la que suscitó la polémica. El Dr. Joseph Sonnabend, controvertido virólogo y especialista en SIDA, sostenía que dicha enfermedad era mucho más complicada que un simple virus nuevo.
 
Synopsis: "Sex Positive" explores the life of Richard Berkowitz, a revolutionary gay activist in the 1980s, whose incomparable contribution to the invention of safe sex has never been aptly credited. Berkowitz emerged from the epicenter of the epidemic as a community leader, demanding a solution to the problem before anyone else would pay attention. However, it was not Berkowitz' voice alone that sparked contention. Dr. Joseph Sonnabend, a controversial virologist and AIDS doctor, postulated that AIDS was more complicated than just a new virus.
