Florencia Pietrapertosa Marano nació en Madrid en 1978 pero vivió hasta los 24 años en Argentina donde estudió Bellas Artes y Realización de Cine. Allí comenzó a trabajar profesionalmente como ayudante de dirección para televisión, cine y publicidad durante cinco años. En el 2002 emigró a Barcelona, donde continuó desarrollando la carrera de realización enfocada hacia el género documental. En 2008 ganó el Premio de arte Generaciónes de Obra Social Caja Madrid para rodar el cortometraje "Le Corps de Mouhamadou" estrenado en ARCO 08. Ademas del género documental, ha realizado obras de videoarte expuestas en varias muestras de Barcelona.
Biography:
Florencia Pietrapertosa Marano was born in Madrid in 1978 but she lived until she was 24 in Argentina where she studied Fine Arts and cinema directing. She started to work as a direction assistant for television, cinema and advertising during five years. She emigrated to Barcelona in 2002 and continues to develop her directing career in documentaries. She won in 2008 the Art prize Generations by Obra Social Caja Madrid to shoot the short film Le Corps de Mouhamadou presented in ARCO 08. Apart from the documentary, she directed art video works in various exhibitions in Barcelona.

| Sinopsis: | La teoría Queer dinamita los cimientos del dualismo predominante en la sociedad:
hombre-mujer, homo-hetero, normal-raro…Hay tantos matices entre hombre y mujer como entre negro y blanco. Como muestra de la diversidad de género, viviremos con 5 personajes su día a día, un día a día que no es el de un hombre “normal”, no el de una mujer cualquiera, la normalidad de los no “normales”. |
| Synopsis: | Queer theory dynamites the foundations of the predominant dualism of our society: man-woman, gay-straight, normal-rare... There's as many shades between man and woman as between black and white. As an example of gender diversity, we'll follow 5 characters throughout their day to day life. A day to day that is not the one of a "normal" male, not the one of a regular woman, the normality of those who aren't "normal".
