Sinopsis: Creciendo en la Inglaterra de los años 50 en un mundo intolerante y desinformado, el joven Chris Winters lucha por encajar en los roles de género dictados por la sociedad en general. Tras una infancia más que dura, Chris conoce Julie, una mujer de sueño, y la vida se le ilumina un poco, pero crece la sensación de que la suya es una vida a la mitad. Imaginándose sin cesar lo que pudo haber sido, Chris finalmente se sorprende al darse cuenta de que para algunas decisiones no hay una respuesta correcta, y que son las que verdaderamente nos definen.

Synopsis: Growing up in 1950s England in an intolerant and uninformed world, young Chris Winters struggles to fit into the gender roles dictated by wider society. A more than tough childhood left behind, Chris meets dream woman Julie, and life lightens a little, but the growing feeling that theirs is a life half lived haunts Chris. Endlessly imagining what might have been, Chris is finally struck by the realisation that for some decisions there is no right answer, and that it’s those that truly define us.

Biografía: Jake es un escritor, actor y director residente en Londres. Sus papeles recientes incluyen partes de «La chica danesa» de Tom Hooper, la webserie «Spectrum» y «Different For Girls», y el cortometraje «Love Without Boundaries», en el que interpretó a una mujer trans. Jake fue incluido en la lista OUT100 de OUT Magazine en 2016, en la Lista de Power 2017 de The Guardian y en la lista Rainbow List 2016 de The Independent. En julio de 2017, su cortometraje sobre el cambio legislativo fue lanzado en Las Casas del Parlamento.

Biography: Jake is a writer, actor and director based in London. Recent roles include parts in Tom Hooper’s “The Danish Girl”, web series “Spectrum” and “Different For Girls”, and short film “Love Without Boundaries”, in which he played a trans woman. Jake was listed on 2016’s OUT Magazine OUT100 List, The Guardian’s 2017 Power List, and The Independent’s 2016 Rainbow List. In July 2017, his short film about legislative change was launched in The Houses of Parliament. Jake is currently writing a television drama and working on his first feature film.
