Tras ser despedida de su trabajo, Ren, una aspirante a escritora de veintitantos años, se va de vacaciones con su familia italocanadiense. Las realidades de ser una millennial anquilosada y una mujer trans se funden mientras Ren lucha por equilibrar el anhelo de independencia con la comodidad de que la cuiden. La película ganadora del último Premio Sebastiane en el Festival de San Sebastián es un hermoso y fresco retrato familiar.

After being fired from her job, Ren, an aspiring writer in her twenties, goes on vacation with her Italian-Canadian family. The realities of being a stagnant millennial and a trans woman merge as Ren struggles to balance her longing for independence with the comfort of being taken care of.
