Sinopsis: Nueva York, post 11-S: cuatro artistas trans de la escena underground –Chloe Dzubilo, Amanda Lepore, T De Long y Sophia Lamar- desgranan frente a la cámara de forma cruda y honesta sus vivencias y emociones, sus anhelos de libertad y sus luchas, en un recorrido vital a caballo entre el activismo transgénero y el mundo de la noche y los clubs.
Synopsis: New York, post 9/11: Four trans artists from the underground scene –Chloe Dzbilo, Amanda Lepore, T De Long y Sophia Lamar- reveal whith affecting honesty their experiences, feelings, desire for freedom and their struggles against adversity, in lives that bridge transgender activism and the world of nightlife and dance clubs.

Biografía:
GUSTAVO SÁNCHEZ QUESADA (Úbeda, España 1978) es un periodista y cineasta residente en Barcelona. Debuta en la dirección con “I Hate New York” (2018), su ópera prima, escrita, realizada y producida por él mismo durante una década, con la producción ejecutiva del director Juan Antonio Bayona. El largometraje hace su première mundial en la Sección Oficial del 21º Festival de Málaga.

GUSTAVO SÁNCHEZ QUESADA (Úbeda, Spain 1978) is a journalist and filmmaker who lives in Barcelona. I Hate New York (2018), is his directorial debut, written, directed and produced over the course of a decade, with executive production by the director Juan Antonio Bayona. This feature film will have its world premiere in the Official Section of the 21st Malaga Film Festival.
