Sinopsis: Barbie, una mujer trans educada, ratera, culta, prostituta y muy inteligente, necesita 30.000 dólares para pagar su operación de cambio de sexo, pero lo único que tiene para conseguirlo es su astucia, sus tetas y a su amiga Microbio. Después de muchas lluvias de ideas, ellas no tienen peor ocurrencia que secuestrar a la hija de un Ministro transfóbico.

Synopsis: Barbie, a trans woman educated, thief, educated, prostitute and very intelligent, needs $ 30,000 to pay for her sex change operation, but all she has to do is her cunning, her boobs and her friend Microbio. After many brainstorms, they have no worse occurrence than to kidnap the daughter of a transphobic minister.

Biografía: Wesley Verástegui no tiene una base educativa formal, sino que ha aprendido de forma independiente a través de Internet. En 2015, el cineasta peruano envió uno de sus guiones al Festival Internacional de Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, donde fue nominado en la categoría de mejor guión inédito. Después de escribir varios guiones y recibir la validación como guionista a través de otros festivales y concursos, Verástegui descubrió su interés por la dirección cinematográfica, que desembocó en el desarrollo de este proyecto.

Biography: Wesley Verástegui does not have much of a formal educational background in film, but rather learned independently about the subject through the internet. In 2’15, the Peruvian filmmaker sent one of his scripts to the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema of Havana, where it was nominated in the category of best unpublished script. After writing several other scripts and receiving validation as a screenwriter through other festivals and contests, Verástegui discovered that he had an interest in directing as well, leading to the development of this project.
